Today was great! I woke up without fever, without backache and without neck ache! yeah! =D

Today, time seem to pass relatively fast. Did the usual things. In total today, I got a 5USD, and 3SGD. (wheee i love TIPS!) Working wif yin ying, kim, grace and sarah was super fun! Without grace and sarah....work would suck even more! However, both of them are changing their position tmr. =(

Anway, all thanks to the support from xiangrong, bin, kim, kelvin and sheryl that i manage to pick myself up again! I am more determine to carry on with my internship. Thanks guys!

The final words from sheryl that struck me was, "I see all these as obstacles. Once you get over these obstacles, you will have a greater satisfaction when you reach the finishing point." Somehow or rather, this cliche words struck me and inspired me to overcome my obstacles no matter how i hated them.

After work, went to starbucks to chill with yin ying and grace. Den we waited for kim to end work and den went home together! I had a great time!!! =)

And yeah....I'm looking forward to my 2 off-days, which is tis thrus and fri. If u're free, do look for me!

I didn't go work today cos the night before i had high fever! 38.2 degrees! What a weird fever. My forehead wasn't hot but my body was! Felt super super lethargic..whole body aching esp. my neck and my lower back. Could't get out of bed for work...so i slept through.

Woke up, suppose to go church but end up had to see the doc before 12 to get the MC. After lunch, slept again. By then, my fever subsuded.

Then suppose to meet yanling and the rest for movie but did not at the end. Evening, met xiang for movie to watch Ugly Truth. Super good movie! Thumbs up!

I sooo needed this day to rest or else i think i might really collapse. =)

I woke up with a slight fever. My whole body felt feverish and was aching all over. My body felt weak. And my lower back hurts alot alot. (stand straight for long hours) But no choice....had to go to work.

Through out work, i was trying my best to "tong". Then, i started having headache. Thanks to the concern of yin ying and grace, I manage to pull through. Also, today i followed the Duty Manager, to give a wake up call in person cos he didn't respond to the wake up call he asked for. Haha! Quite weird sia....got to go into the room and see if the guest is awake. Wat if i saw something i shouldn't?? Anyway, the whole reason for 2 staff to enter a guest room for morning call acts as a witness.

Today, I helped a non-hotel guest carry his groceries from Fullerton to Merlion Park! Super freakin heavy la!!! no tips summore. =( I almost died la....fever plus walk soo far!

In the end, i request to end work 1 hr early so that i could go back and rest.

Everyday, i'm trying my best to enjoy my job and to tah-han for this 1 month. Tmr dunno I can go for work anot. Hopefully tmr i'll be all fine. =D

Okay, today i snooze a little too long. But still manage to reach work on time. Getting used to waking up early already.

Today, apart from the usual, I did room drop together with the strait club girls. We were suppose to enter several rooms to place F1 lanyards and earplugs into the rooms. As such, I was able to see the different types of rooms. (Feel super jealous whenever i see the bath tub!) Next time, my future bathroom MUST have a bath tub! Anyway, doing room drop was a super good method to pass time and time to slack slack abit. While i was in the back of house, I saw some unhealthy signals between some staffs. Hmmm.......wat to do? ...thats life man. I hope things between them will get better.

Carried alot of baggage today! Was walking from the porch to the check-in counter. However, din manage to receive any tips today. Even door man gets more tips compared to us, the lobby ambassador. =( Work seems to be slightly more fun as I know my colleagues better. Everyone in the hotel is super polite to each other. Haha! I think i said countless of "Good Morning" and "Good Afternoon" each day!

Oh.. Fullerton Hotel has excellent HR. They really make the effort to take care of the staff. They were giving out chocolate eclairs and ice milo. And the snacks really energies us! ~ 2 thumbs up for the HR dept! =D

Honestly, I can't wait to fly off to Maldives!!!! I really hope i will not regret my choice to choose Maldives over Fairmont Hotel. After work, yin ying, grace, sarah and I had bubble tea together! Colleage bonding session no. 1 =)

Anyway, I have decided not to work in the hotel in the future. Its not the job for me. Now, my shoulders are aching very very badly. The muscle around my neck is super stiff. And worst of all, my lower back hurts from the long hours of standing straight and carrying of heavy luggages.

I need my OFF DAY SOON!!!! Au voir! (goodnight) =)

Today, i managed to wake up early again! =)

Today, time seemed to pass slightly faster compared to yesterday. I think I'm slowly getting use to my work. Manage to talk to guest more as compared to ytd.

I was also introduced to 2 new and very friendly colleague who around my age. Sarah and Grace. Both super nice girls. Also made another 2 new friends that is doing doorman.

Haha....one silly i did today was to take the left turn instead of the right. I was carrying the baggage of this guest. 2 super heavy bags. Walked him to his hotel room. But becos i took the wrong turn.....I practically walk 3/4 of the entire floor before finding his room!! I really read the sign and was "directed" left...Maybe i was hallucinating. Poor me! The guest was on his phone even before stepping into the hotel!!!

He was not at all grateful for helping him carry his heavy lagguage from the hotel's entrance, til he checked in....and all the way to his room!!!! Argh! I must Loon!!!

Anyway, after work, sat on the osim armchair and shiok only! hahaha! Staff welfare sia!

Overall, today was more fun den ytd! =D Thats the way i like...ah uh ah uh!

Yeah! I actually managed to wake up at 4.50am! =) I was 30mins early for work! wow!

Today, we were located at the lobby to greet guest, help them check-in their luaggage , direct/bring them to their destination. Lots of standing and walking!!! The lobby was quite warm and plus the walking...I was perspiring a little. Lots of carrying of luaggage too!

During the early hours, there were very few guest and hence, it was boring. There were some slips such as bringing guest to wrong direction etc.. LOL. But after awhile, I managed to get the hang of it and was more confident in my directions.

I also did an errand which is to walk from the hotel to Hitachi to send a parcel. And i got to keep a $10 tip! woohoo! $$$$$

Somehow or rather, yin ying and I felt that time was moving so so slowly. It may seemed as though 1 hour has passed...but in actual fact...only 15mins passed! Haizz.....I was getting bored already. Sadly but truely, I was actually counting down to "pang gang". Sigh, how can i count down to "pang gang" on my 2nd day at work?!?!?!

Sometime i really feel that I'm in the WRONG course! I dun like the long working hours, I dun like standing for long hours doing nothing, I dun like the 6 days work week and I dun really enjoy what I'm doing. HOW?!?! (perhaps marketing or events is more suitable for me?)

But.... i usually Psycho myself, "no choice!". I have to make the best out of this!
I hope i will gradually like whatever i'm doing. =) Also, I will be working 7am - 3pm shift for this entire week! (got pros n cons)

Woohoo! Had an Amazing day! =)

Today was more of an orientation. Started at 9am, but i reached at 8.35am. Gd job greg! =)
Oh yeah!!! The housekeeping aunty altered my pants for me! (it was very baggy at first. I will look like some hip-hop dancer if she never alter.)

Vivian, our training manager, was in-charge of us today. (What a nice way to start the day!) hehehe.... =D

We had to signed our contract and we were brief on history of Fullerton which was very interesting and enriching. Felt as though i was going through History lesson again.

The whole atmosphere was very relax as we could help ourselves with coffee,tea and sweets!
Then we had lunch at the staff canteen called, Powerpoint. Food was not bad! (Maybe i was super hungry)

After lunch, we were brief by Lynn, the Concierge manager on information about the upcoming F1 this week. The session was again very very useful for us so that we can answer the guest if necessary.

Next we tour around the entire hotel. Went into the Bridal loft Suites as well as the Presidential Suite. Super huge and amazing rooms! It costs S$4000+ to stay in the Presidential Suite. Lastly we met Slyvin, our supervisor. (i think) She told us more about our roles etc...

Overall, I had a Awesome day, learn soo many things about Fullerton and is looking forward for tmr! =) Tmr my shift is 7am - 3pm!!
